5 cours levels are proposed : 3 to 11 persons per class.
Course level 1 : complete beginner
Course for those with absolutely no knowledge of French.
The aims of this course are :
- to help in the acquisition of basic knowledge (pronunciation, simple grammatical structures, spelling, training in written and oral comprehension);
- to enable beginners express themselves in common situations (e.g. asking for information, introducing oneself, holding simple conversations, etc...).
Course level 2 : elementary
Course for those with some notions of French but whose knowledge is usually limited and theoretical.
The aims of this course are :
- to get a grounding in grammar and vocabulary and correct faults of expression
- to give a grasp of the spoken tongue and the basic mechanisms of the written and oral language for communicating in day-to-day situations.
Course level 3 : intermediate
Course for those with a basic grounding in French, who can have an ordinary conversation but are hesitant and make mistakes.
The aims of this course are :
- to improve oral and written use of the French language and then put it into practice : written expression, grammatical structure systems, vocabulary, oral comprehension and - expression, study of literary texts and press articles.
- to update knowledge of French culture and civilisation
Course level 4 : ordinary
Course for those with a good grasp of French but who still have some problems of comprehension and written and oral expression.
The aims of this course are :
To develop oral and written use of the French language and then put it into practice : written expression, grammatical structure systems, vocabulary, oral comprehension and expression, study of literary texts and press articles.
to improve knowledge of French culture and civilisation
Course level 5 : advanced
Course for those who have mastered the main grammatical structures and who wish to increase their vocabulary and improve its expression.
The aims of this course are :
to acquire an understanding of the more difficult aspects of written and oral French (perfecting of grammar, vocabulary and use of real-life documents); to help improve knowledge of modern French society
