Theatre language workshop

TWorkshop theatre "French by the theatrical practice": this workshop aims at improving its oral expression, its French pronunciation and its fluidity of language. Work on selected texts will make it possible to acquire more self-confidence and to develop its capacities of expression. Work will be accompanied by a reflexion on the exploitation pedagogy of the theatrical expression in class of FLE. The workshop is exempted by professionals of the theatre and FLE.

Theatre language workshop

Workshop of writing: The professor will invite to the production of texts which invite the participants to borrow curious tracks, original and ludic. This method encourages to write in various literary styles and to integrate them like teaching aid for the class. The objective is the production of texts where the weaving of imagination and the literary techniques makes it possible to work its own style. To the pleasure of writing is added that to divide it, of reading and to give to reading texts rich, funny, moving... who nourish the curiosity and the imagination of each one.

Preparation at the entry in a French university

From the intermediary level to advanced level. 5 people per group at the maximum. Course available in August and September 2006. If you are student and wish to continue your studies in a French University. This course will prepare you and will help you to improve your studying methods which will be required during your studies in France: oral comprehension, oral and written expression (writing of notes, summary, essay...).

French cooking courses

Teaching arrangements for the practical cooking session:
1 afternoon of practical French cooking lessons per week (for each session the length is around 4 hours in the afternoon, from 4pm to 8pm + aound 2 hours for the dinner).These practical lessons will allow students to produce different meals under the guidance of a professional chef.
Content of the practical sessions
• production of meals with starter, main course and pudding
• decoration of dishes
• wide variety of demonstrations and their practical application
• matching wines to dishes
• presentation of regional cheeses
• table decoration
• vocabulary of gastronomy and oenology
• choice of products
The sessions will conclude with the serving of a meal. Teaching takes place in our culinary school and is given by a cooking teacher. Aperitif and wines are included in the meals.

Initiation to wine tasting

Initiation course to wine tasting conducted by a professional wine expert including different aspects: discovering the characteristics of the best French wines, the history of wine, the vocabulary of wine. How to describe and analyse wine, understanding the production and processing of wine,knowing the wine lands, the grapes and the different brands etc.
Lenght:: around 2 hours. Summer season only (July/august).

Initiation to Internet (Internet 1)
